Summary[]
Not much is known about the 8th Machine War other than that Grün made his debut into the war and severely crippled Android forces in the East Asian area. It is also known that by this time the construction of what would become the YoRHa Black Boxes was under way. We also know it was during the 8th Machine War Ernst had founded the forest kingdom they would last from 11689 to its collapse in 11945 during the 14th Machine war
Machine Campaign in East Asia[]
The machines unleash their new creation, the behemoth class machine known as Grün upon the world. However once the beast reached land it went rogue and attacked both androids and machines alike. Despite this, the Machines managed to use Grün to largely wipe out androids in the East Asian area before Grün sank back into the Izu-Ogasawara Trench
Outcome: Machine Victory

- Grün goes berserk
- Machines push the Behemoth back into the ocean.
Battle for the Forest[]
A battle waged during the 8th Machine war. It was fought by Ernst and his followers vs the Loyalist Machines for control of the forest. Ernst annexed the region and became the first Forest King.
Outcome: Independent Machine Victory
- Loyalist Machines Ousted from Forest region in New York
- Forest Kingdom created
- Forest Kingdom declares independence from rest of the Machine Lifeforms
- Ernst becomes the first Forest King
Destruction of Kaguya Station[]
Kaguya Station was a resistance research facility built to conduct research in anti machine weaponry as well as to make Black Boxes which would go on to power the YoRHa androids centuries later. An explosion at the station caused the station to cease functioning and it fell from space and burned up in the atmosphere
Outcome: Major Resistance Set Back. Machine Strategic Victory
- Its likely the Red Girls instigated this event as to prolong the conflict even further
