Shahriyar

Shahriyar in one of his 3 forms.

Shahriyar is a boss in NieR RepliCant and NieR Gestalt (NIER), encountered at the end of the temple in which the King of Facade was trapped.

Story

Nier tries to rescue the King of Facade by exploring the temple. Throughout the temple however, multiple blocks that made up Shahriyar for in their way and kidnapped both the King of Facade and Kainé for not following it's rules. When Nier reaches the depths of the temple, Shahriyar forms itself from the blocks and attacks him. After he defeats Shahriyar he finds the King and takes him back to Facade.

Strategy

To defeat Shahriyar, simply use Dark Lance or Dark Blast to attack the pink glowing blocks.

Trivia

• Its name comes from the king of Persia, Shahriyar, that appears in The Arabian Nights.
• The blocks that make up Shahriyar resemble the Gargoyle Blocks from Drakengard.
