"The Magical Stone" is a quest in NieR and NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139.... A look into Nier's fortune using the Eye of Power inexplicably sends him and his friends to a forgotten time.
This quest is only available during the second half of the game.
Activation[]
- Speak to the Fortune-teller at the Forest of Myth after obtaining all five key fragments required for entry into the Shadowlord's Castle.
Quest log[]
- A woman near the entrance to the Forest of Myth asked you to find a "magical stone" used in fortune-telling. Talk to Popola to get more details.
- The Eye of Power can apparently be found at the roof of the Lost Shrine.
- You gave the stone to the client. But what did you see...?

Notes[]
- A movable box will appear just at the roof's entrance. Push it as close to the tree root as possible and jump atop it using the box. May take several tries, as the root's area of contact is small.
- The Iron Pipe can be picked up inside the supermarket, where Yonah was hiding.
- Once the Eye of Power is retrieved, the player can head to the Shadowlord's Castle and have Devola and Popola send them back to the Village, for a quicker way back down.
- Speak to the Fortune-teller to revisit Nier's dream any time after the quest is complete. She will only show up once all five key fragments have been acquired, however.
