YoRHa Type S No.21 is one of the eight leading characters in the NieR:Automata YoRHa Boys stage play, who was also later included in the novel by the same name.
Story[]
In the epilogue of NieR:Automata - YoRHa Boys, No.21's was infected by a logic virus and sunk into the sea. As his body was being carried away by machines, he called out for No.22, and began to fuse with the machines.

- In the epilogue of NieR:Automata - YoRHa Boys, No.21's body was carried away by machines deep in the sea. A big machine at the bottom of the sea then talked to him, which may have been Grün.[1]
