YoRHa Type S No.21 is one of the eight leading characters in the NieR:Automata YoRHa Boys stage play, who was also later included in the novel by the same name.

Story[]

In the epilogue of NieR:Automata - YoRHa Boys, No.21's was infected by a logic virus and sunk into the sea. As his body was being carried away by machines, he called out for No.22, and began to fuse with the machines.

In the epilogue of NieR:Automata - YoRHa Boys, No.21's body was carried away by machines deep in the sea. A big machine at the bottom of the sea then talked to him, which may have been Grün.^[1]
